What You Need Before Starting

Phase 1: Registration & License Setup

Create Your MT5 Cent Account

To use our robot, you need to create a special trading account with your broker. This account will link your funds to the trading algorithm. As a Partner Plan member, you must register using our official broker partner link (e.g. Exness) to unlock your license.

Critical Account Settings

You must use these exact settings when creating your account:

Account Type:Cent Account Only (USC)

Platform:MT5 (Hedging enabled)

Leverage:1:2000 (or Maximum available)

Account Currency:USC

Minimum Deposit Required:$2,000 (shows as 200,000 USC in MT5)

Phase 2: VPS & MetaTrader 5 Setup

Setup MetaTrader 5 on a VPS

For best results, we strongly recommend running the algorithm on a VPS (Virtual Private Server). This keeps your trading software connected to the market 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, even when your personal computer is turned off.

Step-by-step Installation:

1. If you need MetaTrader 5, download it from the official site:

2. Install the program:

Copy the downloaded MT5 setup file to your VPS and install it.
Open MT5, search for your broker, and log in using your MT5 Login ID and Broker Server.

Enable MT5 Connection & WebRequest Settings

To prevent security blocks, you need to configure MetaTrader 5 to communicate with our license database.

Turn on Auto-Trading

Click the Algo Trading button on the top toolbar of MT5. Ensure it is highlighted in GREEN (active).

Allow Licensing URL Connections:

1. Go to the top menu: Tools → Options.
2. Click the Expert Advisors tab.
3. Check the box that says "Allow WebRequest for listed URL".
4. Double-click the green plus icon to add this URL:

Important: Ensure the spelling is exact, including the final forward slash `/`.

Attach the EA to Your Chart

Last step is to load the robot file onto the target chart.

Open the target chart:XAUUSD (Gold).
Change chart timeframe: Click M1 (1-Minute) on the top toolbar.
Open Navigator: If you don't see it, press Ctrl + N.
Expand Expert Advisors, locate Aegis Grid Algo, and drag it onto the chart.
On the settings popup window, click the Common tab and check the box for "Allow Algo Trading". Click OK.

Phase 3: Activation Verification

Check Dashboard & Smiley Face

Once loaded, check the information overlay in the top corner of your chart.

Status: Authorized (Green)

Expiry Date Visible

📌 Look in the top-right corner of your chart: You should see the name of the algo with a Blue Cap or a Smiley Face icon. If it is smiling/active, the robot is online and ready!

Phase 4: Using the Algo Features

Master ON/OFF Toggle Switch

The latest update introduces a built-in Master Toggle Switch directly on your chart, allowing you to easily pause or resume the algorithm without completely removing it.

ON (Active): The algorithm will actively scan the market and open new grid phases as usual.
OFF (Grayed Out): The algorithm is paused. It will NOT open any new trades, but it will safely manage and close any currently open grid cycles.
State Persistence: The switch remembers its state even if your MetaTrader 5 terminal restarts or your VPS reboots.

Draggable Dashboard & Visual Memory

Aegis Grid now features an interactive, draggable on-chart dashboard that tracks all vital metrics in real-time.

Visual Memory Tracker

Displays the current grid phase, floating profit, and integrated secondary race-condition recovery status.

Max Drawdown Tracker

Keeps an exact USD log of your maximum drawdown, which is also auto-exported daily to a CSV file for your records.

Monthly Profit Share Guide (Step-by-Step)

Aegis Grid operates on a performance-based profit split. Follow these simple steps at the end of every month to submit your monthly profit share and keep your license active.

1. Open the 'Share Weekly Profit' Modal in MT5

On your MetaTrader 5 terminal (running inside your VPS), locate and click the 'Share Weekly Profit' button on the Aegis Grid dashboard. This shows the exact weekly profit the algorithm made and the corresponding admin share due.

2. Copy the Payment Link

Click the 'Copy Link' button on the MT5 pop-up. Since VPS browsers can be difficult to use, copying the link allows you to easily transfer it and pay from your local PC or phone.

3. Open the Link in Your Local Browser

Paste the copied link into your personal computer's web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.). If you aren't signed in, log in to your account. You will be automatically redirected directly to the Active Products page:

4. Open the Control Panel

On the Active Products tab, locate your active Aegis Grid product card and click the 'Control Panel' button. This will open the profit share window.

5. Select Payment Method & Upload Receipt

Select your preferred payment method (Crypto or UPI) inside the control panel. Make the payment, attach/upload the screenshot of your transaction receipt, and submit it for verification. Once approved, your validity is automatically extended to the next week.

Weekly Schedule & Transparency

Profit sharing is conducted at the end of every month for transparency. Please upload your transaction receipt before the 1st of the new month so our team has time to verify the payment and extend your license slot before the new month begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:What happens if I forget or don't pay the profit share on time?

If you do not submit your monthly profit share, your software license will expire automatically on the 1st of the month.

Starting Monday morning, no new trades will be placed, and the algorithm will automatically remove itself from your MT5 charts to protect your account.

Q:What should I do if the algorithm is removed from my charts?

If your license expires and the robot removes itself, you will need to:

Log in and pay the outstanding performance fee via the Active Products Portal.
Wait for payment confirmation from our team.
Open MetaTrader 5 and manually drag/re-attach the Aegis Grid Algo back onto your charts (as explained in Phase 2, Step 8).

Tip:How do I avoid this hassle entirely?

Simply complete your profit share payment at the end of every month. This gives our team plenty of time to verify the payment and extend your license validation so your trades run smoothly without any interruption.

How to Update to a New Version

When a new software version is released, follow these four simple steps to update:

1. Download File

Access the drive folder and download the new .ex5 file.

2. Open MT5 Folder

Inside MT5, click File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts.

3. Replace File

Delete the old .ex5 file and paste the new one there.

4. Restart MT5

Close and reopen MT5. Verify the version number on the dashboard.

Beginner Troubleshooting Guide

Robot shows "Status: Not Authorized"

Make sure you registered the correct MT5 Account ID and that your subscription is confirmed.

Robot shows "WebRequest Error"

Go to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors. Confirm that you checked "Allow WebRequest" and typed our URL.

Robot is not opening trades

Check if the "Algo Trading" button on the top toolbar of MT5 is highlighted green.

Wrong chart settings

Make sure you attached the robot to the M1 (1-Minute) chart, and that you are using a Cent account.
